Two of my friends from robotics both got the iPhone (they waited in line all night). They said it's awesome. I haven't had the chance to play with it yet, but I saw it. It LOOKS awesome. The coolest thing is that your screen image can rotate so i'm never looking at it upside down.

Also, the battery life is supposedly very long (well relatively decent). With multihoured (greater than 3) talk-time, video-time, music time.

But the price. I believe it was $500 plus a contract?

All I can say is YIKES. If I had that money available, I'd rather spend it on Universium.

Has anyone else had the pleasure of hold one?

I can't really comment on Apple products, considering that I have never used them. However, the price is a little extreme isn't it? I mean, I wouldn't pay that.

It certainly looks awesome :D But the Expense is more then enough to get a negative reaction out of me.

Overrated, overpriced, and obsolutely rediculous. That is all I have to say. Go for another way cheaper phone or hell, even a PDA, and get MORE features. 8gb hard drive? pfft, fuck that. :p

Eh, I'd prefer a PC or non-Apple product. Apple makes ok machines, they just overprice them.

Apple products is really very popular and good, But it's highly expensive.

I've got an ipod touch first gen. and it is pretty decent, hand-held and portable, also has a long battery life as metioned, the only flaw is that mine doesnt have a speaker :/

I have an Android. Battery life sucks. a lot. But I like it more than the iPhone. I can never go back

Best thing about iPhone=apps.

The rest are mehh. I like Android, but the market is relatively small.

Oh, and besides the fact that the battery life blows when you upgrade a 3rd gen iDevice to software 4.x.
